Overview
At Signant, I work as a Data Analyst focused on keeping operations efficient and accurate. One of my main contributions has been building an Excel tool that lets the team generate SQL queries interactively — the analyst fills in a few dropdowns and the tool produces a ready-to-run query that pulls exactly what's needed to resolve a ticket. It's built on Excel functions and VBA, which keeps it auditable, easy to maintain, and simple enough that adding new query types doesn't require starting from scratch.
Key Achievements
- Analysed complex SQL queries across a large transactional database to surface data inconsistencies and support business decisions.
- Built an Excel-based DQA tool that generates SQL queries from dropdown inputs, reducing the manual effort behind ticket reviews and making the process consistent across the team.
